Audityx Brings Together Its Solutions to Offer More Flexibility to Auditors
Behind the apparent simplicity of Audityx lies a meticulous and rigorous technological design. The company’s Technical Director takes us behind the scenes of the development of this all-in-one solution, designed to meet the specific needs of statutory auditors.
“From the beginning, we opted for a pre-configured solution”. Unlike other software where each user often has to develop and configure their own environment, Audityx offers a base already set up to meet the common needs of auditors. “From this base, the software is then adjusted according to the specifics of the clients, whether they are small firms or large networks”. This adaptability, while offering a turnkey solution, is what makes Audityx unique in the market.
One of the strengths of Audityx lies in the close collaboration with auditors during its design. A working group around the ISQM standard played a crucial role in developing the initial features. “We observed auditors, listened to their needs, and adapted our software to perfectly meet their compliance and risk management requirements”.
However, the software development process has not always been smooth. Some features required adjustments once the product was in production. “Sometimes, you need to be in the field to understand what works or not. For example, we had to adapt elements like rights management in multi-firm settings or add specific features for secretaries”.
Among the upcoming developments, the addition of a calendar module is highly anticipated. “We already have a complete and functional timesheet, but the calendar will complement this by facilitating team and deadline management”. This module will be fully integrated with other software features, including engagement management and invoicing, to provide an even smoother experience.
Innovation doesn’t stop there. The team is actively working on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the Knowledge module. “This module already centralizes thousands of articles and references. With AI, we want to enable users to ask questions about the standards, receive automatic updates on news, and even anticipate certain risks in their work”.
One of Audityx’s priorities is also to offer an intuitive and simplified interface. “We want users to be able to take ownership of the software without needing complex training. That’s why we have made it a point to develop a clear interface, usable by both seasoned auditors and juniors”.
In conclusion, the Technical Director expresses confidence in the technological future of Audityx. “We still have many projects in the pipeline. With AI and the addition of new features, Audityx will continue to evolve to offer an increasingly powerful solution, perfectly suited to the needs of statutory auditors,” he concludes.
